| Book of poetry published in Fall 2008: Fall Foliage Called Bathers & Dancers. Chapter on teaching undergraduates writing-for-publication forthcoming in edited collection from NCTE. Other publications include articles, essays, and poetry in Crazyhorse, The Gettysburg Review, Massachusetts Review, Preemie Magazine, New Hampshire Magazine, Poets & Writers Magazine, Poetry Northwest, Pleiades, Mudfish, Spoon River Review, Fence, Fine Madness, Stand, and jubilat. Work has received the Joseph Langland Prize from the Academy of American Poets, the Mudfish Prize, and a Pushcart nomination. Scholarly interests include the history of composition, history of creative writing, creative writing pedagogy, Rogerian rhetoric, and Writing-Across-the-Curriculum theory and pedagogy. | |
