John Kreeft is an Assistant Professor at the school of Aviation Sciences of Daniel Webster College. He holds Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor certificates, and also actively flies as a captain for Cape Air.

Professor Kreeft has accumulated more than 8,000 hours of flight experience, including two years as a Daniel Webster College Flight Instructor. He has worked as a cargo pilot, charter pilot, corporate pilot, and has more than nine years of airline flying time with three different airlines, including four years as an instructor for a commuter airline. Prior to his position at Daniel Webster College he flew an Embraer 145 Regional Jet for Trans States Airlines.

Professor Kreeft holds a B.A. in English from Boston College, as well as a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a dual specialization in Aviation Education and Aviation Safety. He has developed aviation curricula for Daniel Webster College, North Shore Community College, Trans States Airlines, and Aviation Career Education (ACE) Camps which he teaches during the summer.

He uses his current and past flight experience to teach classes in flight operations, aviation management, and human factors, and to conduct research in airline child safety seat laws. He is also the Faculty Advisor to the college’s Soaring Eagles Flight Team. An avid Boston Red Sox fan, he lives in Woburn, Massachusetts with his wife Kaitlyn.
